Apparently Tiger Woods made an announcement that he is going back to Buddhism to learn about self-discipline again. The Dalai Lama was asked by the media about Tiger Woods' announcement and he said, "I do not know who he is, but whether it is Buddhism or any other religions self-discipline with awareness and consequences is important." Seeking for happiness outside of yourself only creates suffering and insecurity. Happiness must come from within. Humm... that is wisdom, indeed.

が、先日の記者会見で「自己鍛練のためにも仏教に戻る」と発表しました。ちょうどアメリカ訪問中のダライラマ法王は、報道記者からタイガーについて聞かれ「タイガーウッズを誰か知りませんが、仏教だろうと何の宗教であろうと、きちんとした意識を持った自己鍛練は大切です」とおっしゃったそうです。忙しいダライラマ法王に、タイガーのような話題を投げかけた記者もアホか、、、。
そして、もうひとつもビックリニュース。アメリカの人気高級スーパーマーケット「ホールフーズ」が売りにしている「オーガニック」食品が、中国産だって！しかも、「メイドインチャイナ」と見えないくらい小さく書いてあるとか。中国のオーガニック、、、など、とても信用できないし、確かに、中国にはオーガニックの規定となるものが無いとニュースも言っています。英語ですが上のリンクを見てみてください。食べるもの、、、気をつけたいものですネ。
