Starfish ヒトデ

When I see something like this it truly makes me believe in God. Look at this cactus! It's unbelievable. As I was walking my dog yesterday I ran into this starfish cactus. I could not believe my eyes. They are huge and eerie. I took my iphone 4, and tried to photograph it. Of course my iphone camera would not work at such a moment! My dog was going to the bathroom as I was rushing to fix my iphone. I got nervous and left - because I was in someone's garden! So, I found those photos online after typing in, "starfish cactus." It was a random guess for the name, and voila! I was right :)

いや〜こんなものを見ると、やっぱり神の存在を信じてしまう私です。これカクタスなんです。
もうビックリ。きのう犬の散歩をしていると地面に添うように咲いているのを見つけて仰天。茎も無いので、本当にヒトデみたい。iPhone４で早速、写真を、、、と思えば、こういう時に限ってカメラが操作しない。どうしたものかといじくっていると、犬が急におトイレを始めて、、、。慌てているうちにナーバスになって帰宅したのでした。だって気付けば、私は誰かのお家のお庭のど真ん中に立っていたんです！早速、「ヒトデカクタス」と検索してみたら、上の写真が出てきました。まあ、誰にでも想像つく名前ですけれどネ。あ〜それにしても驚いた。
