walk everywhere. Even in Socal which is a big car society I try to walk as much as I can, and
not to mention that I drive a hybrid car. It is my small contribution to reduce the pollution!

I've heard that the reason why Mt. Fuji has not been recognized as a World Heritage is because of its pollution. I mean, a man-made pollution. I just don't comprehend how people climb the mountain, enjoy the nature and leave some trash behind. I've seen people littering mostly in undeveloped countries, but hey, Japan should know better than that!
Tomorrow night is the Presidential debate between Obama and Romney. The Conservative Republicans believe that the climate change is a hoax. That's right, they don't believe that the earth is facing a serious, urgent and critical problem. They deny science. They also say "No" to the abortion rights in cases of rapes. How can a victim bear a criminal's child, and raise the baby with unconditional love and care? To me it just seems too much to ask...
We, humans have damaged our earth enough. If we don't take care of it who will?
これは、ある森林内でのサイン。「足跡以外は何も
残さないで」、「とるのは写真だけに」、「殺すのは
時間だけ」という意味。なんて素晴らしい！
富士山が世界遺産に認定されないのは、ゴミが酷すぎる
からだと聞いています。自然を楽しんだついでにゴミを
捨てて返る心理が私には分からない。ゴミをその辺に
ポイポイと捨てる感覚は、発展途上国でよく見かけますが、
日本でもうそんなことをするのは可笑しいですよネ～。
明日の夜は、いよいよ、大統領選挙へ向けてのディベート
です。オバマ大統領と共和党候補者ロムニーの討論と
なります。コンサバな共和党は、「地球温暖化は人間が
作り上げたでっち上げ」と信じています。科学を否定し、
女性の中絶も反対。そう、レイプされた女性でさえ中絶は
ダメと考える党です。
地球を荒らしたのは、間違えもなく人間たち。我々の住処を
人間の手で守らなければ、誰が守ってくれるのでしょうネ？
