This is my 15-yr-companion filofax. I still prefer this notebook much more than my iphone and computer. Since several years ago my friends have been laughing at this (and at me), and Kate's Paperie in SoHo, NY stopped carrying the refills because "No one buys them anymore." So I buy the refills online every year. I know that it's better to go paper-free, but this one is hard to let go...
これは１５年以上使っているファイロファックスの
手帳。iPhoneやパソコンよりも、やっぱりこれが良いのです。
数年前から既に、まわりから笑われていました。いつも
リフィルを買っていたNYはソーホーの「ケイツペイパリー」も、
「買う人が減ったので」という理由からリフィルを扱わなくなって、
今はオンラインで買っています。ペーパーフリーになった方が
エコにも良いのだけれど、なかなか手離せないのです、、。
Over the years I have patched, fixed and decorated the damaged spots. For the butterfly on the cover
I used the Swarovski crystals, the colorful tapes from a trimming shop in NYC, and the donkey came from the Yellowstone National Park key chain. The front hook got broken, so I fixed it with a bracelet from Accesorize, a popular boutique in England. I have made it so lovely that I will definitely use it for another 15 years!
あちこち傷やシミなどができるたびに、パッチワーク
で「飾りつけ」して来ました。表面のチョウチョは、スワロスキー
クリスタル、カラフルなテープはNYのトリミングショップで
ゲット。ロバさんはイエローストーン国立公園で買った
キーホルダーでした。留め金が壊れたので、イギリスの
人気ショップ「アクセソライズ」のブレスレットで補修。
ここまで可愛くしたのだから、まだまだ愛用しますヨ～！
