Hand fetish? 手フェチ？

Actually, I have a hand fetish... just kidding! However, I am fussy about the rubber gloves that I buy. As I love to wash dishes (although I have a fabulous dish washer I never use it) I've spent quite some time and money on rubber gloves. See the photo above? It's a house near where I live, and first I thought that it was a glove, but it wasn't... :(

実は私、手フェチ、、、な～んて冗談です！でも、ゴム手袋
には、かなり凝るタイプです。無心になれるお皿洗いが好きで、
未だにディッシュオッシャーがあっても使わないんです。お皿洗いの
時に使うゴム手袋には、かなりリサーチ時間とコストをかけて
来ました。上の写真は、自宅の近所のある家でみつけたもの。
一瞬、ユニークなゴム手袋かと思ってワクワクしたのですが、
残念ながら手袋じゃなかった～　あ～


Several weeks later, again this hand appeared near my house.

数週間後、また家の近所で、この手が、、。


Then here goes again... this must be someone's art statement or simply a fun trick? I love it!
 
そしてまた数週間後、こんな所にも、、、。
誰からのアート、もしくは愉快な悪戯でしょうか。
あ～楽しい！


Finally these are the real rubber gloves! I found those at the Tibetan artists studios in Dharamsala, India. I had never seen a skin-color rubber gloves before. All the gloves I've purchased are bright pink and green, and the most rubber gloves that are sold in the US are bright yellow. The beige color gloves really creeped me out!

う～ん、それにしても、肌色のゴム手袋は初めて見ました。
私のゴム手袋は、鮮やかなピンクやグリーン。アメリカで
販売されている市販タイプもビビッドな黄色です。
やっぱり肌色のゴム手袋を見た時は、ちょっとギョッと
しましたわ、、、。
