August 31 is Richard Gere's birthday. He turned 62 years old this year, and look at him, he looks so young! My birthday is right after his, and our birthdays always fall into the Labor Day Weekend, the last long weekend in the summer. Therefore, every year around my birthday I think about Richard Grere :)
He is not only an amazingly talented actor, but he is also a powerful human-rights activist, environmental activist and a Free-Tibet activist, and I have a tremendous respect towards him. He has done a lot. Also, he is a devoted Buddhist for many years, and he has inspired me in that way, too.
It is not easy being a Virgo... lol
I truly hope that I will be like Richard Gere, young and vital in my coming days!
８月３１日はリチャード・ギアのお誕生日。今年で
６２歳。でも、この通りメチャクチャ若いのです！
アメリカは８月の終わり／９月の始りが、「レイバーデー
ウイークエンド」という休日で、夏最後のロングウイーク
エンドとなります。私の誕生日はリチャードの誕生日の
すぐ後なので、夏の終わりと共に、いつもリチャードの
ことを考える私♡。
才能ある素晴らしい実力派俳優であるだけでなく、
世界の人権問題、環境問題、そしてチベット支援に熱意
を注ぎ、いつもフル回転している彼は、私が尊敬する
人でもあります。また、同じ仏教徒同士としても、大きな
インスピレーションをもらっています。
乙女座って楽じゃないから、ほんと、たいへん。笑
リチャードのようにいつまでも若々しくバイタリティ溢れる
人でいたいな～！
