More green in the cities 街にもっとグリーンを

"More green..." I meant the books. This book phone booth came out recently

in New York. I love the idea and the people who make these cool things happen!

グリーンと言っても、木から造られる紙で作られた
本のことで～す！この写真は最近のニューヨーク。
使用されなくなった公衆電話を図書室にメイクオーヴァー！
素晴らしい。こういうことを考える人、実行する人、大好き
です！


This one is in Germany. Actually this recycling book tree booth began many years
ago there. You can put your books and magazine that you don't want anymore, and
people will take them. What a brilliant idea! But, of course, they are Germans who
have the most advanced recycling system in the world, and who produces the least
waste in the world, too. My husband and I love Kindle, and no longer buy books in
a paper form... for the environmental reason. However, I'd like to treasure the printed
books as long as they exist!


こちらはドイツ。これはもう数年以上前から始まって
いるのですが、街の路上に設けられたブースに、
読まなくなった本や雑誌を自由に置いて行き、
読みたい人が持って行く、、というリサイクリング
システム。さすがドイツ。世界一と言われるリサイクリング
システムを持つ無駄を出さない国ですネ。
私も旦那さんもエコのためにキンドル派。紙に印刷された本はもう
読んでいません。でも、残った本は大事にしたいな。
