At the gallery I met this woman who is a long-time fan of my work. She told me that she has been hospitalized for one month due to an illness, but she secretly left the hospital to come and see my new works. "Your work gave me strength and hope," she told me in tears. I cried, too. As an artist this is the highest compliment I can receive. I pray for her quick recovery.

きのう、新宿伊勢丹での個展が始まりました！今年も素晴らしいお花が沢山届いて感激です。午後２時に会場に着くと、シャンパン、チョコレート、スイーツ、ありとあらゆるプレゼントが私を待っていました。皆さん、本当に優しい、、！どうもありがとうございました！
会場で、あるファンの女性が、「１か月前に体調を崩し入院中なのですが、今日は秘密で抜け出して来ました。作品を見て本当にパワーと希望をいただきました。」と泣きながら言ってくださいました。こちらもウルウル、、、。
私が描いた絵が誰かを元気にしてくれる。これ以上の喜びは画家としてありません。
どうか、一日も早く良くなりますように、、。
